April 30: A Rincon man said his car was damaged when it was repossessed for late payment. He was told it was a civil matter.
May 8: A woman said the mother of her grandchild is harassing, stalking and threatening her.
May 9: Someone with a pellet gun broke two windows on a van that was left in a front yard, for sale, on Sanders Street.
May 10: A man who was harassing Walmart employees was arrested for drinking in public and vagrancy.
May 10: A woman said her wallet was stolen from her car while she was working at Verizon Wireless.
May 11: A woman said her son stole her cell phone and $150 cash. Weisenbaker Road.
May 11: Hit-and-run. Someone damaged a Mustang parked at Walmart.
May 11: Someone broke a window at Frob Construction on W. Fourteenth Street.

May 11: A woman described as a “well-known nuisance” was banned from Veranda Village Apartments.
May 12: The gate struck a vehicle that was passing under it at the entrance to Town Parc Apartments. The gate arm was slightly damaged and the vehicle had no damage.
May 12: An employee who was fired for possible drug use showed up at his former employer’s house and was threatening.
May 12: Someone ran over a Macomber Ball Park sign at E. Fourth Street and Lexington Avenue.
Escape artist
May 13: A pit bull dug under a fence on Smithfield Drive and was threatening pedestrians. The owner was cited for dog at large.
May 13: An officer running radar at Rincon Elementary School stopped a vehicle for doing 37 mph in the 25 mph zone. The driver was cited for suspended license, speeding and expired tag.
May 14: The driver of a vehicle that was weaving on Ga. 21 was stopped and arrested for drunken driving-refusal and failure to maintain lane.
High priority
May 15: A 31-year-old Guyton woman was arrested for shoplifting $27 worth of items – two pairs of children’s shoes and a bra – from Walmart. She asked if the officer didn’t have anything better to do.
May 15: A man reported that he was bitten by a stray dog while out jogging a month earlier, at Kessler Avenue and Exley Drive.
May 15: A woman said she believes her rental car was damaged in Walmart’s parking lot. It had a series of dents on the bottom of a door.
Medical excuse
May 15: A 55-year-old woman from Brooklet was arrested for stealing $182 worth of items from Walmart – DVDs, clothing, a camera and food. She was “rejected by jail staff because of a medical issue” and was released on subpoena.
May 16: Rincon Chevrolet reported two dealer tags missing.
Anyone home?
May 17: A customer walked into the Auto Zone at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday but no one was inside and soon an alarm sounded. He went outside and called police. The store closes at 8 p.m. but the front door was left unlocked.
