April 26: The automatic tag reader said a car on Ga. 21 had suspended registration. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and on a warrant from Laurens County.
The owner of the car, who was a passenger, was cited for suspended registration.
April 26: A woman from Jamestown, N.Y., was accused of stealing $369 worth of items from Walmart.

April 26: A woman called police because her boyfriend was trying to smoke marijuana in their house. The man did not admit trying to smoke pot. He left for the evening.
April 27: A resident of E. Kessler Street said two dogs that run at large have dug in his trash and dug up the bones of his pet cat that died 18 years ago.
The dogs, which have been reported at large before, were put on a list to be picked up by Animal Control.
April 28: A Guyton man who had been given a criminal trespass warning not to return to Walmart was seen in the store. The store was told it could seek a warrant for the man’s arrest.
April 28: Someone keyed a foul word and “you suck” on a car on Lisa Street.
April 29: An officer stopped a pickup truck for going 53 mph in the 35 mph zone on Ga. 21. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license and speeding.
April 29: A landlord said a tenant she is evicting threatened to beat her. She was going to obtain a good behavior warrant against the tenant.
April 29: A woman said a friend of the family, who recently was released from jail, kicked in the front door of her trailer, causing extensive damage. The offender said the woman took some of her personal belongings while she was incarcerated.
April 30: A Rincon woman said someone used her identity to run up a $2,200 bill at Verizon Wireless.
April 30: A Rincon man said someone took $240 out of his checking account, via a Western Union transfer, without his permission.
April 30: A man said he was struck by an SUV and knocked off of his skateboard. He suffered minor scratches.
April 30: The automatic tag reader flagged a vehicle on Ga. 21 as having suspended registration. The driver was cited for driving while unlicensed, suspended registration and no insurance and the vehicle was towed.
May 1: A Rincon woman said a Brunswick woman has been harassing her about when she can pick up personal items from a storage unit they share in Rincon.
May 1: A drunken man at Alibi’s was given a citation for disorderly conduct but was allowed to leave with friends.
Easy theft
May 2: Someone stole a 2010 Ford F-150 from Alibi’s parking lot. The driver had borrowed the $30,000 truck from a friend. He left the keys inside and the door unlocked.
