MaKayla Robinsson scored 17 points, Kyesha Lewis had 14 and Jakayvea Akins scored 13 points in the win over Jenkins at home.
Also scoring for Effingham were Aliyah Williams with 8, Ebony Hicklen with 6, TeShauna Johnson, Truana Williams, Keionna Wallace and Brooke Fowler with two points each.
Effingham held Jenkins to two points in the first quarter, eight in the second and 11 in the third. Jenkins scored 16 points to Effingham’s 18 points in the fourth quarter of play.
Lewis had 10 rebounds, three steals and two assists. Robinson and Hicklen each had six rebounds. Robinson also had three steals and two assists. Hicklen had four steals and two assists. Akins had five rebounds, six steals and three assists. Aliyah Williams has four rebounds, three steals and six assists.
