Aug. 15: A woman who threatened to break another woman’s neck for turning off the water to her trailer was arrested for making terroristic threats. Ray Fetzer Drive in the Guyton area.
Aug. 15: A woman wanted a deputy to document that her mobile home was being damaged by water as it was waiting to be moved from Chester Street in the Rincon area. She said her mover told her he was watching a “Bonanza” marathon and wouldn’t be able to move the trailer as scheduled.
Aug. 16: Two dogs that got in county Commissioner Reggie Loper’s chicken coop and killed two chickens were found and taken to the county animal shelter. Stillwell-Clyo Road in the Springfield area.
Aug. 16: A man who tried to sell a guitar for $200 on Craigslist said he thought he was being taken when he received a check for nearly $2,000. The check was drawn on a California bank, but the return address was in Tennessee and the envelope was postmarked in Florida . Griffin Lake Road in the Guyton area.
Aug. 16: Six batteries to a golf cart were stolen. Noel C. Conaway Road in the Guyton area.
Aug. 16: Back door forced open on residence on Quail Run Circle in the Springfield area. Two handguns stolen.
Aug. 17: A deputy stopped a driver who ran a stop sign, was speeding and straying from his lane. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a drug-related object, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, failure to maintain lane, speeding and running a stop sign. Long Bridge Road in the Springfield area.
Aug. 17: Couple argued over a male friend staying with them while the friend does the wife’s tattoo. The wife said the husband thinks she’s cheating on him with the tattoo artist. The deputy told the couple to seek marriage counseling or get a divorce. Oak Drive in the Bloomingdale area.

Aug. 17: Neighbors disagreed over a boundary dispute and “lifestyle preferences.” One said he accidentally cut the other’s cable wire, which was above ground, when he was mowing. Cobbleton Drive in the Rincon area.
Aug. 17: A deputy pulled over a woman from Sylvania who was driving below the 35 mph speed limit in the left lane of Ga. 21 in the Rincon area. She wouldn’t move from the fast lane even when the deputy flashed his lights at her. He explained to her that it’s against the law to ride in the left lane while not doing the speed limit and holding up traffic. He gave her a warning.
Aug. 17: A deputy told a woman that it’s illegal and dangerous for go-karts and four-wheelers to drive on Douglas Road in the Springfield area. The woman had argued in person and on Facebook with another woman who was driving through the area.
Aug. 17: A woman picked up two knives when she and her longtime boyfriend argued. He was afraid she was going to hurt him. She said she was going to use the knives to kill herself. She was arrested for simple assault and for unplugging the phone when he tried to call for help. When he packed up to leave, one of every pair of his shoes was missing. Hyacinth Circle in the Guyton area.
Aug. 18: A mother and her underage daughter, who is pregnant, argued over the mother taking the daughter’s cell phone. The mother said she “popped” her daughter on the arm to get her to quit yelling as they were riding in a vehicle. Southern Charm Way in the Guyton area.
