SEMS Competition Cheer team takes first
The South Effingham Middle School Competition Cheer team won first place at the Battle in the Boro cheer competition held on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The SEMS cheerleaders earned first place in the large division by a 43-point lead.
They are now preparing for their next competition, “Cheer Dawg Classic,” which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Toombs County High School.
