A drug investigation which spanned several months by the Effingham county Drug Unit, Chatham Narcotics Team (CNT) and Bulloch County Drug Unit resulted in the arrest of three individuals, confiscation of two firearms, cash, prescription drugs and a large amount methamphetamine, commonly referred to as “Ice.”
Two males and one female were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute opiates, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by convicted felon and the driver was charged with aggravated assault on a peace office.
They were found to be in possession of 1.37 pounds of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of 100 thousand dollars, two firearms and one thousand dollars in cash, said SGT Don White with the Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects are being held at Effingham county jail without bond.
