STATESBORO—Bailee Wilson earned the win and Kaitlyn Kelly and Wilson each drove in runs in the top of the seventh to lead the Rebel offense.

CROSS COUNTRY
The Effingham County Cross Country teams competed in the Richmond Hill Relays on Sept. 17. There were 13 teams competing in three divisions, boys, girls and co-ed. The teams were tasked with running as many 800 meter legs as possible in two hours while alternating runners.
The Effingham County Rebel Co-Ed team finished in first place overall completing 41 legs (20.5 miles).
Winning team members were Justin Dolata, Noah McIntosh, Rafael Osella, Marina Van Sickle and Catherine Hall.
The second Effingham County Rebel Co-Ed team completed 39 legs (19.5 miles).
This team consisted of Keegan Kurtz, Ian Foster, Tim Smith, Ashley Kaeser and Kristen Hint
The ECHS girls team finished in 3rd place completing 35 legs (17.5 miles).
The third place girls team consisted of Abby King, Taylor Walsh, Shakari Powell and Faith Deal.
