Effingham Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Port Wentworth man this morning for sexual exploitation of children.
The Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation over several weeks, leading to the arrest of Eddy Rolando Castro, 39, according to Deputy Joe Heath of the Internet Crimes against Children Task Force.
Deputies discovered several images of girls between the ages of 10 and 14 and removed a computer, several cell phones and other digital media devices from Castro’s home.
He was being held in the Effingham County Jail.
