
South Effingham High School presented its ninth annual fashion show on Saturday night.
The students design, make and model the fashions.
They also produce the show, including running lighting and music.

The work of the Impressionist group of painters was the inspiration for this year's designs.
Three categories were presented. In the first, Impasto Impressions, the fashions were made from patterns with impressionist strokes of paint.
The second category, Natural Impressions, presented parasols created by students based on impressionist artists. Students were given a blank paper parasol to work with.
Master Impressions was the final category presented and required students to created designs using repurposed items in a new way. Inspiration was modern and master painters.
Awards presented included top model, Ayla Herbert; director's award, Shelby Brannen; audience choice for designer, Catherine Jayroe; top designer for Impasto Impressions, Christian Mincey; top designer for parasols, Christian Mincey; top designer for Master Impressions, Shelby Brannen, overall winner, Christian Mincey.
Judges were: Carlee Fuller, Nancy Miller, Lauren Sapp and Sara Spicer. Jeff Fortsen was the host.
