Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Savannah man accused of sexually assaulting three young children.
Dennis Cronk, 64, of E. 41st Street, was arrested at his residence on Wednesday by Sheriff’s investigators with help from Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police.
“It’s one of the sickest, most vile cases this office has ever seen,” said Sheriff’s spokesman David Ehsanipoor.
Cronk is charged with three counts of aggravated child molestation, three counts of aggravated sexual battery, three counts of cruelty to children in the first degree and three counts of false imprisonment.
Cronk is being held in the Effingham County Jail without bond.
Anyone with any additional information on Cronk or anyone who may know of additional victims is asked to contact the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 912-754-3449.
