The SEMS Lady Mustangs kept their season winning streak going by kicking off region playoffs with an 8 to 0 win against William James Middle School on Oct. 2.
WJMS’ lineup had no answer for pitcher Kastin Belogorska. WJMS managed just one hit off of Belogorska, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during her three innings of work.
The bats kept the Lady Mustangs in the lead with Madelyn Smith going 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs, Mallori Jenkins 1 for 3 with 1 RBI, Emily Laverenz 1 for 1, Courtney Cubbedge 1 for 2 with a triple and 1 RBI, Cheyenne Miller 1 for 2 and Kylie Bohl 1 for 1.
