Richard W. Boyles

Rincon — Mr. Richard W. Boyles, 66, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Candler Hospital.

Mr. Boyles was an Effingham County native, was retired from Doizer Crane as a heavy equipment mechanic, and was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Trudy Harris and Catherine Allen.

Survivors include his wife Glennies Boyles; son, Tim Westley Boyles and daughter, Christy Bullard all of Rincon; two sisters Dorothy Bazemore of Claxton and Jewel Ingram of Springfield; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, March 2, at Riggs funeral home. Gravesides services were held Monday, March 3, in Union Cemetery.

Linda Diane Nickle–McCullough

Springfield — “Linda 5,” 61, died from a short illness at home.

She will be missed by her family and her friends.

We would like everyone to celebrate her life by planting wild flowers in her memory.

The Chatham County native retired from Gulfstream and volunteered with Effingham County Voter Registration.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne T. McCullough; son, Daniel Lee Nickle (Sandy); step-daughter, Erin McCullough Gann; grandson, Riley Thomas Gann; sisters, Sandra Nickle and Angela Nickle; sister-in-law, Linda Thrift; brother-in-law, Gary McCullough; nieces and nephews, William, Joseph, Jessica, Brittany, Josh, Connie, Matt, and Stuart; cousin, Frank Wynn; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
