Rincon City Council members beginning a new term took the oath of office Monday night.
The city clerk swore in Ken Lee as mayor for a third term, and then Lee swore in returning council members Scott Morgan and Levi Scott and new council member Christi Ricker.
Lee said he is retiring as manager of the Kroger in Rincon and is looking forward to being able to devote more time to the job of mayor.
Morgan also is beginning a third four-year term on the council.
Scott, who has served on the Rincon council for 19 years, said he thinks the council has accomplished more in the last eight years than it ever has.
